Early Career and Training
Luke is a Strength & Conditioning Coach and Personal Trainer, holding a Diploma in Personal Training and S&C from Setanta College. He is also a primary school teacher with ten years’ experience working in schools across Ireland and Australia.
He has gained practical coaching experience through his work as a sports teacher in primary schools in Australia, where he coached and organised a variety of school sports and team activities across different age groups. He has also been involved in coaching at GAA camps and at his local club as well as with various school sports teams in Dublin and Mayo.Coaching Philosophy
Luke is passionate about helping people of all ages and backgrounds improve their overall health, fitness, and confidence through exercise. He believes training should be accessible, enjoyable, and tailored to the individual, whether the goal is improved performance, better health, or simply becoming more active. He has a strong interest in long-term athletic development, injury prevention, and helping athletes build strong physical foundations through quality movement and consistent training habits. He takes an individual approach to coaching and aims to create a positive environment where people can build confidence, enjoy training, and develop over time.Personal Interests
Luke has a strong sporting background having played Gaelic football, soccer, hurling and rugby growing up. He has maintained a keen interest in his own training and athletic development and continues to play Gaelic football and recreational soccer. Luke is also REPs Ireland accredited, reflecting his commitment to maintaining recognised professional standards within the health and fitness industry.Contact
