Early career and training
Adam graduated in 2024 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Science and Exercise Physiology from Technological University of the Shannon: Athlone. During and following his studies, he gained practical experience by working with a variety of groups, including Special Olympics, men's and women's soccer teams, youth swimming and rugby programmes, and 1:1 personal training for individuals from diverse backgrounds.
More recently, Adam has run community fitness classes within his local region, aiming to offer affordable and evidence-based exercise options to communities lacking access to local fitness facilities. He also delivers lectures on nutrition and exercise to promote healthy living through education.
Coaching Philosophy
As a coach, Adam is a strong advocate for a scientific, research-driven approach to fitness. His training programmes are grounded in well-established principles, allowing him to work with clients in a highly effective and individualised manner.
However, Adam believes that the person always comes before the result. He prioritises his clients’ well-being and happiness above all else, ensuring that their fitness journey is both meaningful and enjoyable. His coaching is built on a foundation of friendship and partnership, encouraging open communication and mutual respect between coach and client.
