Early career and training
David graduated with an honours degree in Physiotherapy from University College Dublin in 2021. During this time he worked with a number of sports teams providing pitch side medical cover and rehabilitation, as well as completing placement experience in both private clinics and public hospitals.
He began his professional career in Rathfarnham Primary Care Centre, Dublin, where he worked for over a year, gaining broad experience in the rehabilitation of both acute and chronic conditions. He then moved to acute care in Mayo General hospital providing inpatient care and helping patients return to their previous health and mobility after illness. Given his passion for sport and athletic rehabilitation he also continued to work privately with a number of sports teams, overseeing the safe return-to-play of athletes from a variety of sports including Gaelic Football and Rugby.
During his career David has always prioritised his continuous professional development. Having recently attained a post-graduate certificate in Biomechanical Assessment, he is now qualified to measure and fit prescription orthotics for clients.
